Personal Chef Service in Kansas City

We charge $44 an hour, plus the cost of food. Unlike caterers who prepare the food in their facilities well before your event and then try to keep it warm or cool until it arrives, a MyChef KC personal chef prepares it fresh in your kitchen. The time between preparation and presentation is minimized so that the flavors, textures, and pleasures are the freshest they can be.

Buffets offer guests the opportunity to pick and choose their food, along with how much they want. Guests walk along a length of tables expertly set up to show off the food as much as to serve it.

Action stations, on the other hand, involve food tables set around a room or space, where guests approach for specific foods to be served to them. These actions stations allow guests to be more social as they travel the room, plus they can keep line congestion to a minimum.

MyChef KC does have a contract outlining our meal prep service in Kansas City. We do that so that, as you and your personal chef create amazing menus and food to fit your situation, we are fully transparent about all costs and yummy expectations.

That being said—unlike other services, we do not charge any sign-up fees, nor do we charge you if you wish to end service! You can even take a week off if you’re on vacation or sick—without incurring fees or having to pay for a week you didn’t use. We do ask for a 48-hour notice if at all possible for cancellations.
